We often heard that Red Cross or Blood Bank is lacking of blood.  This is due to there are still little awareness about the importance of donating your blood for your health and of course for helping others.  Blood Donation will not take lots of time and it certainly doesn’t do you any harm at all.  If you’re in an age between 18 years old to 55 years old and in a perfect health then you might want to consider having Blood Donation.  You can donate every three months since it usually takes around 2 months for hemoglobin and other blood components to restore themselves.

If you ever participate in a Blood Donation event, you’re probably already aware that actually there are not much of your blood is being taken.  The Blood Donation is only taken around 350 ml to 450 ml.  This is around one unit of blood.   Of course, you don’t need to worry since once your blood is being donated, the blood itself will be having several kind of test to make sure that your blood is in perfect condition and safe to give to the recipient no matter what condition the recipient currently is.
